times bed

times bed

Time to dream.

At first glance, the times bed looks like it is floating. The bed owes its light appearance to its clever construction that keeps the feet out of sight. Its neat, minimalist stylistic elements also help you get a good night’s sleep. The simple curves do not distract from dreaming.

In spite of its airily light appearance, the times bed also conveys a sense of comfort and security. This is due to the solid wood frame – and the natural characteristics of wood as a material. No metal is used at all in the ingenious construction of this bed. Instead, strong wooden slot joints are used, which also allow easy assembly and disassembly of the times bed. Several times, if you like.

    walnut

    Noble, dark and elegant: walnut.

Austria, Slovenia and Hungary are home to our walnut trees. The noble living grained wood has hues that range from light brown to black brown and sometimes show a red or purple sheen. The character of the wood is distinctly more rustic than with traditional walnut. Wild walnut is hard, maintains its shape and is extremely resilient to wear and tear – this is why we use it for our fronts, table tops and beds.

Solid wood, very soft.

The beautifully handcrafted details of the end-grained wood at the softly-rounded corners highlight the solid wood character of the bed frame, making a particularly robust impression. The wooden headboard is the formal and constructive continuation of the bed frame. Sophisticated milling of the soft curves ensures a beautifully shaped finish.
